Featured Summer Events on Long Island


There's so much to do on Long Island during the summer, but here are some featured events!

TD Bank's Celebrate America Music and Fireworks Show - Join us for FREE on Saturday, June 27th at 5:00pm at Eisenhower Park for great music and a fireworks show! Call 516.572.0200 for more information!


Kayaking at Scallop Pond!  - On June 27th from 10 am to 2pm meet us at Scallop Pond with your kayak and lifejacket! This event is free. For more information call 631.283.5432.

Independence Salute - Join us Saturday, June 27th at 7:30pm for fireworks and a tribute to veterans. Los Lobos will perform. This event is free and is held at Town Park at Point Lookout. Call 516.292.9000 for more information.

Mollusks and Manes - At Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard on June 28th, come experience wine and music! This gorgeous vineyard heads a horse rescue program! Find out more by calling 631.369.0100.

Tall Ships Challenge Atlantic Coast - The Tall Ships are coming back to the Village of Greenport July 3rd through the 7th as Greenport hosts the Tall Ships Challenge Atlantic Coast 2015. 

On July 3rd there will be a Captains Reception from 6-9pm at Brecknock hall on the campus of Peconic Landing in Greenport. Admission is $30.00 which includes a free entry pass to tour the ships.
This year’s festival marks the arrival of France’s L’Hermione, a magnificent sailing vessel that will be making a symbolic journey across the Atlantic to commemorate LaFayette’s voyage to the support the rebels in 1780. Along with the L’Hermione in Greenport will be the Pictone Castle (Nova Scotia), Sagras (Portugal), Lynx, (CA), AJ Meerwald (NJ) and Kal Mar Nyckel (DE).

This is an event you won't want to miss. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to board these extraordinary sailing vessels and interact with crewmembers and sailing trainees. People of all ages will be amazed at the size and scope of these historic vessels, which take you to a wonderment of adventures at sea.
