Hippity hoppity Easter's on its way....to Louisville!
Louisville knows how to bring in Spring. Don't believe it? Check out these
Spring and Easter events for yourself!
Easter Bunny Photos take
place Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. all throughout the Easter
season at Oxmoor Center. They're also open on Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
Easter Parade on the Avenue
happens Saturday, April 19th on Frankfort Avenue from Stilz to Haldeman.
This free events features the Shriners, Hwang's Martial Arts, the Bubble Truck
and of course, the Easter Bunny. Be sure to dress for the weather and have the
kiddos bring and Easter basket or bucket for all the sweet loot they're sure to
tote home!
Helicopter Easter Egg Drop also happens on April 19th from noon
to 2 p.m. at River Valley Christian Church. This is MORE than an egg hunt. You
can expect candy, prizes, games and inflatables.
Another Easter Egg Hunt takes place on
April 19th at 2 p.m. at the Douglas
Community Center. There are two age groups for the hunt so that all is fair.
Easter Brunch at J. Graham's Cafe happens Easter morning at the Brown Hotel. Here, you can build
your own omelet and more. Adults are $36 and kids are $18. Tax and gratuity are
extra.
Easter Brunch Cruise on the Ohio River also happens Easter Day.
This is a two hour cruise aboard the Belle of Louisville where families can
choose between a sightseeing cruise or full buffet in the dining room. Follow
